Patent Agent


John is a registered patent agent with extensive experience in securing national and international patent rights to innovations in a variety of technical fields. In additional to patent procurement, John’s intellectual property experience also includes IP strategy formulation and implementation, assisting companies with IP strategy formulation through comprehensive understanding of technological complexities, and IP strategy implementation by navigating companies through the patenting processes for many different countries.

John was able to hone his skills in identifying and delivering value in IP services while working in-house for a global beverage company. John now leverages these skills to provide clients with value and services tailored to their business objectives. John’s in-house experience also allows him to understand even the most complex organizations and provide meaningful insight.

While John is an electrical and computer engineer by training, his experience extends to software, mechanical, physics, optics, semiconductor, ecommerce, and medical device fields. Prior to entering private practice, John gained extensive engineering experience through Georgia Tech’s prodigious Co-op program, working in factory automation and robotics. John continues to work with clients in the robotics and automation fields, as well as various computer technologies. John also has a thriving pro bono practice where he serves clients who need but cannot afford representation.
